Terms of Service

Last updated: June 2026

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using ScanSentinel ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Account Registration

You must provide accurate information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.

3. Acceptable Use

You agree that:

  • You will only submit domains that you own or have explicit permission to scan.
  • You will not use the Service to scan domains you do not control.
  • You will not use the Service for any unlawful purpose.
  • You will not attempt to bypass rate limits, authentication, or tenant isolation.

4. Domain Verification

Before scanning a domain, you must verify ownership by adding a DNS TXT record provided by the Service. Scanning is only permitted on verified domains.

5. Subscription and Billing

Paid plans are billed monthly via Stripe. You may cancel at any time. Upon cancellation, you retain access until the end of the current billing period. Downgrading your plan may result in the removal of domains, webhooks, or scheduled scans that exceed the new plan limits.

6. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. Scan results are advisory in nature and do not guarantee security. You are responsible for acting on scan findings.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, ScanSentinel shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.

8. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account for violation of these Terms. You may delete your account at any time from your Profile page.

9. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
